In the nineteenth century, France is a fascinating world, and sometimes treacherous revolutions. It is flavored with a mixture of property and sensuality, which eventually led to the creation of new artistic and literary production. At that time the world was gifted with great artists such as Honore Daumier, caricaturist, painter and sculptor. It covers a wide range of topics from literature, society and science to the art world.

Honoré Daumier was born as "Honoré Victorin Daumier" on February 26, 1808, Marseille, Jean-Baptiste Louis Daumier and Cécile Philippe CÃ © Catherine. In 1814, Jean-Baptiste moved to Paris. The artist and his mother joined John in 1816. From his youth, Honoré loved art, a passion Jean refused. Daumier created a considerable number of sculptures in unbaked clay. His sculpture, "Ratapoil" (1851) is a wonderful piece of art. Meanwhile, Charivari in 1860 left to join in 1864. Was also a great painter, Daumier was a pioneer of "naturalism" with honesty and honest vision and a powerful direct. One of his masterpieces are "Christ and his apostles." Unfortunately, as a painter, Honore only saw success in 1878.

Throughout his life, strict censorship rules led to Daumier abandon "political satire" and focus on the type of "De Paris", paving the way for the "realism". His images crossed cultural boundaries and land. His work continues to grace some of the art museums in the world, including the Louvre. Honoré Daumier was blind with age and died February 10, 1879.
