I work for a large hotel chain in Seattle and management is always concerned about customer feedback in particular?
those published on the internet. Sites such as "Trip Advisor.com is one that closely monitor customer responses to our service and hospitality. I do not understand is the number one criticism of our property is that we charge $ 9.95 for internet access in the room. The lobby of the hotel guests can access the Internet for free. Almost every post touches us WIFI costs. Most of the comments say to get this free small hotels and why are we charging for this service. It seems pretty small to me for this, especially from top management is so concerned about our ratings on websites where customers can book your future stay with us. So what do you think? Does management really care about grades, or too much of a benefit to the owners group and they want to nickel and money from the guests? I thought if you got rid of the burden, then we would have more positive comments and more customers would stay with us. What do you think?
Do you offer free internet access with a CAT5 cable in the room, or make any Internet connection in the room requires a load 9.95? I admit it's one of my biggest complaints about these hotels days, and it seems that high-end hotels can not understand Internet access, but the mid-range hotels have below. So I agree with you. Why do I sit in the lobby with free internet?
